The Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board accredits five undergraduate degree programs for Engineering and Technology. The Computer Engineering degree program has been approved by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board but has not been reviewed for Engineering Accreditation by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology.

The Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) accredits the Communication Sciences and Disorders program. The National Association of Schools of Music accredits the School of Music. The American Psychological Association accredits the graduate program in clinical psychology.

The School of Nursing has full approval from the Texas Board of Nursing.
