Responding to the educational needs of the rapidly growing Houston area, the University of Houston makes credit course offerings available at locations away from the main campus and to enrolled students at home.

The University of Houston offers online undergraduate degree completion programs and 100% online graduate programs for a true education without limits.

A complete list of undergraduate and graduate online programs can be found on our Degrees & Programs page.

In addition to online programs, the University of Houston also offers face-to-face, hybrid and live interactive classes at three locations in the greater Houston area.

  • UH Northwest Campus (20515 SH 249, Houston, Texas), serves the northwest Houston area,
  • UH Sugar Land (14000 University Boulevard, Sugar Land), serves Fort Bend county and southwest Houston, and
  • UH System at Cinco Ranch (4242 S. Mason Road, Katy) serves the west Houston area.

Credit courses offered online and at these locations include junior, senior, and graduate level courses from selected degree programs and are taught by University of Houston faculty.

Credit courses and programs offered online and at these locations have the same prerequisites, content, and requirements as on the University of Houston main campus.

UH Distance Education coordinates the delivery of courses off-campus and online.
