General Admission Requirements

Students who have earned fewer than 15 semester hours of college credit must meet the requirements for high school graduates. An applicant who has earned 15 or more transferable semester hours after earning a GED or high school diploma will be considered a transfer student. Credit must be earned from an institution accredited by one of the six regional accrediting associations will be considered a transfer student. Transfer students must be eligible to return to the last college attended and must meet the following minimum grade point average requirements:

Applicants who have earned 15 or more semester hours of college credit must have a 2.50 cumulative grade point average.

All college credit course grades, including those in repeated courses, are used in computing the grade point average.

An official transcript from each college or university attended must be submitted to the Office of Admissions.
