Foundation For Education and Research in Vision, Inc.

Established in 1955, the Foundation for Education and Research in Vision (FERV) is an official fundraising arm of the University of Houston’s College of Optometry. We are dedicated to improving the quality of life for others and we accomplish our mission by providing vital funds that support critical College initiatives, directly impacting students, education, patient care, community service and research.

FERV has several events throughout the year which raises funds for student endowments and scholarships. Some of those events include their annual FERV Eye Open Golf Tournament and the Anderson Fair Benefit Concert.
