Admission		Application deadlines can be found on line at Admissions under the application process for your specific admission status: freshman, transfer, international, or graduate.
Enrollment		For specific enrollment times, go to the Enrollment Schedule on line.
Financial aid applications		Information is available from the Costs and Financial Aid area of the UH website.
Payment and Refund Deadlines		Timing is critical to University payment and refund processes. Please review the information on line at: Student Financial Services.
Graduation Application Deadlines		Regular filing period (non-refundable $25.00 fee): April 3, 2015, Friday through July 3, 2015, Friday. Late filing period (non-refundable $50.00 fee): July 4, 2015, Saturday, through July 17, 2015, Friday. Go to myUH (Peoplesoft) to apply.
NOTE: Dates for the events listed to the right vary by College. Please check with your College as early as possible.		Master’s / Doctoral Deadlines submitting final draft of master’s thesis or dissertation to the committee submitting signed original and two copies of approved master’s thesis or dissertation for binding ordering caps and gowns Commencement / Convocation Please see the current UH Commencement Schedule. Information for some Colleges may also be found by searching the UH Events Calendar using “commencement”. May 2015	25	Monday Memorial Day Holiday.

June 2015	1	Monday First day of classes. In general, during Summer Session 1, 2015, classes meet either Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday.
	2	Tuesday Last day to add a class.
	4	Thursday ORD - Official Reporting Day (12th/4th class day). Last day to drop a course or withdraw without receiving a grade. Last day to drop a course without hours counting towards the Enrollment Cap for Texas Residents. NOTE: Tuition is higher for hours in excess of the cap.

July 2015	3-4	Friday - Saturday Independence Day holiday, observed and official.
	22	Wednesday Last day to drop a course or withdraw with a ‘W’.

August 2015	11	Tuesday Last day of class.
	12-14	Wednesday - Friday Final examination period. See: Current Final Exam Schedule
	14	Friday Official closing of Session 1 See notes above re: commencement / convocation
