Prerequisite: graduate standing and approval of chair. Survey of the basic concepts, theories, and techniques for the management of operating systems that involve the design, operation, and control of systems producing manufactured goods and services. Topics include forecasting, aggregate planning, materials planning, project and process control, scheduling, inventory management, capacity planning, and quality control.
