DISC 8374 - Queuing Theory and Applications

Cr. 3. (3-0)
Prerequisite: graduate standing, DISC 8370  or approval of chair. The basic theory and properties of Markov chains and queues. Single and multiple server queues under various arrival and service conditions. Applications in cash management, marketing, drive-in service, inventory control, air traffic control, and other waiting line situations.
