CUIN 6395 - Practicum for First-Year TeachersCr. 3. (3-0)
This course offers first-year teachers an opportunity to participate, over a two-semester period, in a total of 45 hours of workshops/seminars designed to support them in a) applying their education knowledge to the full responsibilities of day-to-day teaching, b) reflecting on challenges and events in their classrooms/schools, and c) engaging in cooperative problem solving of the inevitable problems that arise in the beginning teacher experience.
