LAW 5217 - Communication LawCr. 2. (2-0)
Examines the federal regulation of the electronic mass media with particular focus on regulatory models for legislative and judicial oversight of broadcasting, cable, and new communications technologies. Classroom discussion and student papers will focus on laws governing the broadcast and cable industries and the policy-making process by which those laws are formed.
