This course provides students with a broad understanding of the global energy market in the past and present, the dynamics of the ¿Natural Resource Curse¿ in developing nations, the importance of understanding local business cultures/history before undertaking energy projects, and a basic introduction to the types of petroleum/gas agreements, legal structures, and project economics that can promote benefits for all stakeholders involved.
