ECON 3389 - Topics in Contemporary Economics ICredit Hours: 3.0 Lecture Contact Hours: 3 Lab Contact Hours: 0 Prerequisite: Sophomore standing Description Development of economic thought and the intellectual and historical framework within which economic ideas have grown. Among the thinkers that are emphasized are Smith, Ricardo, Marx, Malthus, Marshall, Say, Turgot and Keynes. A survey of contemporary economic theory and problems. May be repeated for credit when topics vary.
