CHNS 3340 - Global MandarinCredit Hours: 3.0 Lecture Contact Hours: 3 Lab Contact Hours: 0 Prerequisite: ENGL 1303 , ENGL 1304 . Description This course examins the theories sustaining the spread of many localized and indiginized forms of Mandarin. Students will also study the socio-historical reasons behind the emergence of these various forms of Mandarin and their linguistic implications. Note: This course will be taught in English.
