Prerequisite: COMM 1301 , COMM 1303 , ENGL 1304 , HIST 1378 or HIST 1379 , POLS 1337 .
Description
Introduction to the basics of dramatic structure and storytelling for film, television and/or digital productions. Students receive guidelines for writing professionally formatted dramatic scripts. Final assignment will be a feature-length script or two scripts for dramatic shorts, suitable for student or professional projects, submissions to screenwriting competitions and/or writing samples when applying for graduate programs.
