Prerequisite: OPTO 5221 , OPTO 6234 , OPTO 6312 , OPTO 6333 , OPTO 6335 , OPTO 6363 
Corequisite: Concurrent enrollment in OPTO 7494 .
Psychological, physiological, social, and ocular problems of the elderly. Examination procedures in the care of geriatric patients. Special eye and vision problems of concern to the elderly patient. Special problems of the institutionalized and bedridden patient. Problems of therapy management and compliance.
