PEP 6365 - Emergency Care of Athletic Injuries

Credit Hours: 3.0 (3-0)
Prerequisite: Admission to the Masters of Athletic Training degree program.
Clinical evaluation and assessment of athletic injuries that require immediate emergency care and referral.  CPR and AED training, spine boarding, treatment for shock and heat illness, management of fractures and dislocations.
