Description
Comparative study of the aesthetics and literatures of modernism as they have developed in South Asia and Latin America during the twentieth century and into the twenty-first century. Authors to be considered include Joyce, Tagore, Borges, Rushdie, Donoso and Rao and others, in order to consider a comparative global modernism that includes, but goes beyond, European and U.S. definitions.
