Financial econometrics is the intersection of statistical techniques and finance. The objective of this course is to provide a comprehensive overview of financial econometric models and their applications to modeling risk and returns, and prediction of financial time series data. The emphasis is on applied financial modeling, data analysis, and forecasting.
