PHLS 7377 - Child and Adolescent Psychopathology and Well-Being Credit Hours: 3 Lecture Contact Hours: 3 Lab Contact Hours: 0 Prerequisite: Students should have completed graduate coursework in assessment and measurement (e.g., PHLS 8300 , Advanced Educational & Psychological Measurement).
Course content addresses developmental risk and resilience, socio cultural influences on mental health, traditional diagnostic approaches (particularly the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of the America Psychiatric Association), and positive psychology and the dual-factor model of mental health.
