AAS 6311 - African American Social and Philosophical Foundations

This course examines both Afro-American Philosophy proper and the philosophical concerns of Afro-Americans generally, through a treatment of their works. This course will be a historical study of the political and social philosophies which have given form to the struggle for Black liberation in the United States.
