Prerequisite: BIOE 2350, BIOE 3340, CHEE 2331, MECE 3400, ECE 2100 and ECE 2300.

Biological thermodynamic systems; heat and work; properties of pure substances; and first, second, and third thermodynamic laws. Hydrostatics: ideal, laminar, and turbulent flows.
