BIOE 4366 - Biomolecular Engineering Fundamentals

Credit Hours: 3.0 (Lecture Contact Hours:3; Lab Contact Hours:0)
Prerequisite: BIOE 3440  or CHEE 3466  and credit for or concurrent enrollment in BIOE 5455 .

Analysis and design fundamentals for biochemical processes: introductory biochemistry, microbiology, biological kinetics, reactor design, transport phenomena. Applications of enzymes and single and mixed microbial populations.
