COMD 5346 - Speech and Language Disorders in Adults for the SLPA

Credit Hours: 3.0 (Lecture Contact Hours:3; Lab Contact Hours:0)
Prerequisite: Must be admitted to the SLPA Certificate Program.

Theories and research related to acquired speech and Language disorders in adults. General diagnostic and remedial approaches for adults including aphasia, motor speech disorders, voice disorders and cognitive communication disorders.

Note: This COMD class is designated for the Speech Language Pathology Assistant Certificate Program
