Predicting molecular shapes and polarities. Solid state bonding of ionic compounds, metals, and semiconductors. Acidbase interactions. Crystal field and ligand field models of bonding in dblock metal complexes and organometallics. Reactions of metal complexes and catalysis. The role of inorganic compounds in biochemistry.
