Prerequisite: PHYS 1322 , MATH 1432 , and GEOL 1330 , or consent of instructor.

Methods of characterizing shallow, subsurface conditions, including the influence of fluids on the physical properties of near-surface materials, high-resolution seismic and gravity methods.
