The Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies offers masters and doctoral programs to prepare educational leaders.  The programs address research, policy, and practice in strategic, instructional, organizational, and community leadership. 

The programs foster mutual respect, teamwork, and help build a community of members judged by the quality of their character and their contributions.  The program’s graduates fill an important need in the community, serving in diverse positions in both public and private educational institutions.  Field experiences are an integral part of these programs.

Master of Education (M.Ed.)

This degree program has the following areas of specialization:


Doctorate of Education (Ed.D) in Professional Leadership


Professional State Certification:

In addition to the academic degree programs, the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies offers two programs that lead to Professional State Certification:
