Minimum Requirements
Minimum requirements for a minor in CLASS are:
- Fifteen semester hours of which nine must be advanced.
- Nine semester hours in residence of which six must be advanced.
- A 2.00 cumulative grade point average on all courses attempted in the minor field at the University of Houston.
For additional requirements and other information regarding minor courses of study, refer to the specific department section and contact the department that offers the minor.
The C.T. Bauer College of Business , in cooperation with CLASS, offers five minors in International Area Studies: African Studies, Asian Studies, European Studies, and Latin American Studies. Students interested in a minor in one of the International Area Studies should contact the Office of Student Services in the Bauer College of Business Administration for more detailed information.
