Subsea Engineering Certificate

The targeted applicants for this program are practicing subsea engineers with minimum of B.S. degree in engineering. Applicants with a bachelor degree in technology or a related science field will be considered on a case-by-case basis. This program serves students outside the normal Masters Degree in Engineering. Moreover the successful completin of a certificate or both certificates does not constitute admissions into a Masters Degree Program.

SUBS 6320 - Riser Design  MECE 6334 - Convection Heat Transfer 
SUBS 6330 - Pipeline Design  MECE 6341 - Viscous Flow Theory 
SUBS 6340 - Subsea Processing and Artificial Lift  MECE 6361 - Mechanical Behavior of Materials 
SUBS 6350 - Subsea Controls and System Engineering  MECE 6363 - Physical Metallurgy 
SUBS 6351 - Design of Subsea Blowout Preventers  MECE 63XX, Selected Courses requiring approval from the Program Director
SUBS 6360 - Subsea Materials and Corrosion   

*ONE MECE science based graduate course may be taken in each certificate and would thus replace one Subsea Engineering course per certificate.
