The accelerated B.S./M.S. degree program is open to qualified undergraduate technology majors in Retailing and Consumer Science, Human Resource Development and other Technology majors planning to continue into graduate education immediately upon completion of the B.S. degree.

Undergraduate students that are accepted into the accelerated program take up to six graduate credit hours that are applied to both the bachelors’ degree and the master’s degree in Global Retailing and Human Resource Development. Undergraduate students should not take more than one graduate course per semester. All students may pursue either the thesis or non-thesis master’s degree options.

  • The B.S. degree will be conferred to students in the accelerated program upon completion of the undergraduate curriculum requirements with appropriate graduate courses substituted for undergraduate courses.
  • The M.S. degree shall be awarded based upon existing requirements for the graduate degree in Global Retailing or Human Resource Development.

Application

  • Application for the program is recommended for undergraduate students during their junior year.
  • Application and completion requirements are available from the Department of Human Development and Consumer Sciences in room 110 of the Cameron Building or the College of Technology Academic Services Center in room 108 T.
