Spanish Minor

Students minoring in Spanish must complete at least 15 semester hours in Spanish, of which 12 must be advanced. Nine semester hours, including six advanced, must be completed in residence with the Department of Hispanic Studies, not including credit by exam or learning abroad. Spanish minors must earn a 2.00 minimum cumulative grade point average on all Spanish courses attempted at the University of Houston.
