Admission Applications

You will apply as a first-year freshmen if you are a high-school senior or if you graduated/GED but never attended a college or university.

1. Complete the University of Houston application for admission using either the Apply Texas Application or The Common Application. Submit just one application.
2. Pay the nonrefundable $75 application fee ($90 for international students) with a credit card, debit card, or check. Checks can be made out to the University of Houston, 4434 University Drive, Houston, TX 77204.
3. Have your ACT or SAT score(s) sent directly from the testing agency to us. Our code for ACT is 4236; SAT is 6870.
4. Have your most recent official high-school transcript sent to The University of Houston, Office of Undergraduate Admissions, 4434 University Drive, Houston, TX 77204. For faster service, send your official transcript to us electronically using TREx, Parchment, or Naviance.

The completed application, application fee, and supporting documents constitute the basis upon which eligibility for admission is determined. All questions on the application must be completed fully. Admission is invalid if granted on the basis of incorrect information or omitted facts.
