Weekend U

Weekend U provides an opportunity to complete core curriculum courses on Saturdays during the fall and spring semesters. These courses allow more flexibility for a students’ class schedule. Weekend U is perfect for students with busy weekday schedules and is an opportunity to earn your degree faster.

Weekend U classes are held Saturdays on the UH campus. Classes are scheduled between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM and are taught by qualified instructors.

Most classes meet face-to-face like any other traditional classes. Some courses are hybrids, which combine traditional classroom instruction with a significant amount (over 50%) of instruction delivered online (usually via Blackboard Learn).
