Pre-Optometry Program: College of Optometry

Prospective students are strongly encouraged to contact the Office of Optometry Relations to discuss the requirements for admission to the College of Optometry.  Counseling is available for prospective students to incorporate the required prerequisite course work for the College of Optometry into their degree plans.

Pre-Optometry Professional Society (POPS)

University of Houston undergraduate students with an interest in optometry are encouraged to join the Pre-Optometry Professional Society (POPS).  POPS members meet frequently and maintain a constant dialogue with the College of Optometry.  The Admissons and Counseling Manager serves as the liaison for POPS.  Visit the POPS web site at http://www.uhpops.org/.
