DISC 6301 - Production and Operations ManagementCr. 3. (3-0) Prerequisite: graduate standing. This course is a survey of the application of operations management concepts and techniques to business problems in both manufacturing and service organizations. Topics include demand forecasting, aggregate production planning, distribution and manufacturing inventory management, facility location and layout, materials management, work force and production scheduling, quality management, service sector operations, and international operations.
