CIVE 6377 - Environmental Chemistry

Cr. 3. (2-3)
Prerequisite: CHEM 1331, CHEM 1332, CHEM 1111, and CHEM 1112; and graduate standing in civil engineering or graduate standing in environmental engineering. Aqueous environmental chemistry in natural waters and wastewaters: ionic equilibria, solubility, hardness, alkalinity, buffering, and the carbonate system; theory and practice of quantitative water and wastewater analysis.
