ASLI 2335 - Multiculturalism & Diversity in ASL Interpreting

Lecture Contact Hours: 3    Lab Contact Hours: 0
Prerequisite: ASLI 2301  or instructor approval.

Analysis of cultural diversity and how it impacts the work of interpreters, both linguistically and paralinguistically. Emphasis will be placed on subcultures within the Deaf and hard-of-hearing communities.
