ECE 6349 - Applied Solid State Theory

Prerequisite: ECE 4339 or consent of instructor.

Physics of solids including energy band theory, carrier transport, point defects, and optical properties. The course will make use of basic principles of quantum mechanics and statistical mechanics in an engineering context.
