PHAR 5212 - Literature Evaluation Credit Hours: 2.0 Lecture Contact Hours: 2 Lab Contact Hours: 0 Prerequisite: Third year standing in the College of Pharmacy or consent of instructor.
To provide students with a better understanding of the medical literature by instilling the essential skills to critically evaluate article findings. The fundamental principles that will be covered include: characteristics of different study designs and interpretation of articles (measurements, variability, statistical significance, risk).
