MECT 6342 - Thermal Processing and Post-Process of Materials

Prerequisite: MECT 4372 or equivalent, or consent of instructor.

Thermodynamic phenomena occurring during materials processing, including effects of heat, solidification, phase transformation,and recrystallization. Use of technologies to monitor phase transformations, recrystallization, and their implications on materials characteristics.
