COSC 6311 - Fundamentals of Software Engineering

Credit Hours: 3.0
Lecture Contact Hours: 3   Lab Contact Hours: 0
Prerequisite: consent of the Director of Graduate Studies.

Credit may not be applied toward a graduate degree in Computer Science. Introduction to the concepts of software engineering. Identification of problems related to the development of large software systems. Software project planning, requirements analysis, design, implementation, quality assurance and maintenance. Students must make an oral presentation on aspects of the course content.
Note: Credit may not be applied toward a graduate degree.
