GERM 1803 -  Accelerated Beginning German

Description
May not be taken for credit by students who have had two or more years of high school German. Credit for GERM 1803  may not be applied toward a degree by students who have credit for GERM 1302, GERM 1304 , GERM 1501 , or GERM 1502 . Thorough foundation in German language concentrating on basic skills of reading, writing, understanding, and speaking German, emphasizing oral proficiency and communicative, interactive language learning. Introduction to culture of German-speaking countries. Homework includes video and computer assignments that must be completed in the language acquisition center.
