Prerequisite: None.
This course will examine the North American Trade Agreement (NAFTA in its original form and contrast it to the USMCA. The course will include a brief introduction into the Mexican and Canadian legal cultures, to the multilateral trading system under the GATT and the WTO, and it will the future of North American integration in the context of NAFTA renegotiations and other regional agreements such as the Trans-Pacific Partnership.
