Description
Normally may not be taken for credit by students who have had two or more years of high school German. Credit for GERM 1501 may not be applied toward a degree by students who have credit for GERM 1303 . Thorough foundation in structure of the German language concentrating on basic skills of reading, writing, understanding, and speaking German, emphasizing oral proficiency and communicative, interactive language learning. Introduction to the culture of German-speaking countries. Required one-hour computer and video lab session per week.
