The Department of Accountancy and Taxation (ACCT)
offers a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting via traditional (in-person) and online formats. The department also offers a post-baccalaureate program for those wanting to meet the educational requirements for the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy Uniform CPA Examination or complete prerequisites for the Master of Science in Accountancy (MSACCY).
The department’s Professional Accounting Programs Office is committed to providing quality advising services to currently enrolled and prospective accounting students, assisting them in determining and accomplishing their academic and career goals, providing a pathway to a master’s degree in accountancy, as well as preparing accounting graduates for career opportunities and leadership roles in business, government, and nonprofit organizations.
