The Department of Management and Leadership

The Department of Management and Leadership offers a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in management. This major is excellent preparation for students who wish to pursue graduate studies in administrative sciences or are interested in general management and management trainee positions. Elective courses in leadership, human resource management, strategic management, and global management are available to those interested in these specialized areas.

This major focuses on the behavior of individuals and groups within formal organizations, with particular emphasis upon the application of theory and research to management practice. Topics receiving primary emphasis include leadership and motivation, decision making, the adaptation of organizations to their environment, and the effective use of human resources.
