Master of Science Program in the Information and Logistics Technology Department
The degree plans for a Master of Science degree in Information Systems Security, Supply Chain and Logistic Technology, and Technology Project Management are designed specifically to prepare individuals for responsible leadership roles in the technology- and information-based workplaces. The core courses provide in-depth preparation in project management skills. Being able to plan and manage technology projects is an increasingly important skill.
Students have a choice of three programs. First, the Information Systems Security degree equips professionals to assess the security needs of information and network systems and then to manage the implementation and maintenance of the recommended security solutions. Second, the Supply Chain and Logistics Technology degree equips technology professionals to manage and coordinate the inventory and materials handling functions of an organization, ranging from purchasing, inventory control, shipping and delivery, to transportation.
Finally, the Technology Project Management degree plan equips technology professionals with an in depth study of project management. In this degree plan, students work with a faculty advisor to create a 12 credit directed area of study.
