The minor in interdisciplinary arts requires a minimum of 15 semester hours, 9 of which must be advanced. Nine of the 15 hours must be taken in residence, of which at least 6 must be at the 3000- or 4000-level. Twelve of the credit hours used to fulfill the requirements below must be unique to the minor. A minimum 2.00-grade point average on all courses applied to the minor is required.

Students seeking the minor in interdisciplinary arts are required to complete:
- IART 1300 - The Arts in Society Credit Hours: 3.0
- IART 3300 - Introduction to Interdisciplinary Art Credit Hours: 3
- IART 4300 - Collaboration Among the Arts Credit Hours: 3
- 6 hours from the following:
- Any course from the following departments as long as they are outside of the student’s major degree plan. If the student’s major is not in the KGM College of Arts, all 6 hours must be in KGM College of the Arts as long as requirements and pre-requisites are met. Art (ARTS), Art History (ARTH), Arts Leadership (ARLD), Classics (CLAS), Comparative Culture Studies (CCL), Dance (DANC), Drama (DRAM), Interdisciplinary Arts (IART), Music (MUSI), Theater (THEA), creative writing in the English Department (ENGL), World Cultures and Literatures (WCL), Women’s Gender & Sexuality Studies (WGSS).
