The Food and Society Minor requires 15 semester hours (at least 9 advanced hours) taken from the courses listed below or upon approval from the Coordinator of the Food and Society Minor.

A minimum of 9 hours must be taken in residence.
Courses should be distributed from at minimum two departments.
A student must earn a 2.00 cumulative grade point average in courses attempted in the minor field at the University of Houston.
