Accelerated pathway dual degree programs provide academically outstanding students an accelerated pathway to complete an undergraduate and a master’s degree in a reduced period of time. Accelerated pathway programs provide undergraduate students permission to take a specified number of master’s level courses as electives toward completion of their bachelor’s degree. The students then apply to the graduate degree program, and if accepted, the previously completed graduate coursework during the senior year is counted as transfer credit toward the completion of the master’s degree.
Students wishing to apply for the B.S. in Technology Leadership and Innovation Management or Technology Leadership and Supervision/M.S. Technology Project Management accelerated pathway program must meet the following requirements:
- Currently enrolled in Technology Leadership and Innovation Management, B.S. or Technology Leadership and Supervision
- Junior standing and completion of 30 semester hours of Technology Division coursework
- Minimum 3.0 GPA over all course work
- Minimum 3.25 GPA over all Technology Division course work
- Approval from the undergraduate Program Coordinator for Technology Leadership and Innovation Management or Technology Leadership and Supervision
- Approval from the graduate Program Coordinator for Technology Project Management
Students may choose up to 6 hours to apply to both the undergraduate and graduate degrees from the approved list.
- TEPM 6301 - Project Management Principles
- TEPM 6302 - Leadership and Team Building
Students enrolled in the accelerated program must complete the graduate application process before formal admission to graduate school. The admission committee reviews the entire application when making an admission decision.
