Mathematics Coaching Certificate

The fully online graduate certificate in math coaching is geared towards working professionals - teachers, administrators, or those currently in instructional leadership roles - who want to enhance their knowledge of teaching and leading in mathematics education. Students can take two classes per semester and finish in one academic year. They will learn about current research in mathematics education, as well as techniques and strategies for both developing professional learning experiences for teachers and for coaching teachers in one-on-one settings. With this certificate teachers will be poised to take on new leadership roles, including math coaching, instructional coaching, or other math leadership positions in schools and district offices. All courses in the program are online and offered in the evenings (5:30-8:30 pm central time).
