Students minoring in French must complete at least 15 semester hours in French. Twelve hours must be advanced, including three at the 4000-level. At least nine of the advanced semester hours in French must be completed in residence. French minors must earn a 2.00 minimum grade point average on all French courses attempted at the University of Houston.
